Hi, I’m Wendy
Dalton, an authorized civil celebrant, and I would like to help
you plan a lovely ceremony and facilitate it for you on your
special day.
ABOUT ME:
I’ve been happily married for forty years so am a huge believer
in the institution of marriage. I’ve been a senior teacher of
English and Literature for many years so I will be able to help
you select appropriate readings and verses that reflect your
feelings and values. As a teacher, I am experienced in
communicating clearly with people, listening to their ideas and
dreams, guiding and supporting them in their decisions and being
very organized. These are the attributes I’ll bring to your
ceremony.
YOUR CEREMONY:
Whether it’s a wedding, a renewal of vows, a naming, a
commitment or a funeral, I will present a professional ceremony
in accordance with the Celebrants’ Code of Practice. I will
focus entirely on YOUR ceremony by not accepting any other
bookings on YOUR special day.
I will encourage you to
include traditions, rituals and cultural segments which could
involve your family and friends in the ceremony if you desire.
Your ceremony will be unique to you and your guests.
Overall, I will undertake to
provide you and your guests with a relaxed, enjoyable and
memorable ceremony.
LEGAL
REQUIREMENTS:
As your celebrant, I will facilitate the completion of the
legalities required by the Federal and State Governments. This
includes all documents to be processed before and during the
ceremony.
