May my joy flow out -- upwards and over you        
    Enveloping you with gladness and goodwill;

 Nurtured by your fruitful inspiration  
  --Your plan fulfilled.

So you might speak with clarity and wisdom,  
     Enunciating well the reason why  
We gather at this time and in this place 
     To speak our truth  -- to flaunt it high!  

Laud love and marriage -- Praise it to the hilt! 
    Salute the day -- Rejoice with bride and groom;  
Be relevant and reverent and make their day 
    With sweet, heart-warming words and loving tune.  

and sympathise with those who've lost someone 
   Articulate their loss, their awful grief;  
Be humbled in the face of death -- and yet be strong 
  To comfort and to calm and bring relief.    

And celebrate life's moments -- make them shine! 
   The birthdays and the births, the special times;  
Imbue them with your warmth, your unique touch 
  Integrity, sincerity and chosen rhyme!  

Congratulations on the talent that is yours 
  The selfless instinct that you want to help  
To give more relevance to life and special times 
     To fulfill dreams -- and thus fulfill yourself.
