Hello, let
me tell you a little of my journey into becoming a Marriage
Celebrant. I married my wife Joan a few years ago now, and both
of us wanted to marry in an intimate family type ceremony. This
was both our second marriages, as we had
been widowed previously, and were looking for a wedding ceremony
that reflected our personalities with a less formal and starchy
Ceremony this time around. We had chosen a beautiful Reception
Centre, with an intimate little Chapel, and were looking to book
a Marriage Celebrant to marry us. My wife being a bit of a
traditionalist, wanted to be married by a man, so I bowed to her
wishes, and looked for a male Marriage Celebrant, in the
locality of our chosen Reception Centre. This was not as easy as
it appeared because on every website I searched there seemed to
be plenty Lady Celebrants, and hardly any Male Celebrants in the
locality of the Reception Centre, and this started me wondering
why. Eventually we managed to find a beautiful man, who together
with us both organised our ceremony just the way we wanted it.
Our wedding day was an absolute joy, thanks mainly to our
Celebrant, who handled the ceremony superbly. This brought great
pleasure to my wife and I, and it was an experience we would not
have missed for the world. It had such an effect on me, that I
studied to become a Marriage Celebrant myself, hoping I could
bring to other couples the magic of the experience we had, and
share with them, the joy, and privilege of being their Marriage
Celebrant.
I will at
our first meeting, create with you, a ceremony, designed
perfectly to your requirements, a tasteful, and enjoyable
ceremony that you will remember fondly for the rest of your
lives. Something that you will be proud of, and others will tell
you, how beautiful the ceremony was, and how it was the wedding
they have enjoyed the most, and probably the best organised they
have ever been to, just as my family and friends tell my wife
and I.
A wedding
rehearsal, one week or so before the Wedding day is recommended,
at my house, or your house, so that all participants can be
schooled into how the ceremony, will be performed, and how it
will all come together, and to iron out potential problems. I
look forward to being of service to you in the future, and
hopefully be the one to Marry You.
I Love You
(Wedding Poem author unknown)
I love you not only for what you are,
But for what I am when I am with you
I love you for not only for what you have made of yourself
But for what you are making me
I love you for the part of me that you bring out
I love you for passing over all my foolish and
weak traits,
That you can't help but see
I love you for drawing out into the light my beauty,
That no one else had looked far enough into
I love you
